cringing at the stare i see

the mirror cracked by the 

fist-pounding it just received

i stare at my bruised skin and then

back at the cracked glass

then past the cracks and into 

the eyes staring back at me

and smiled; time to 

re-define image

      1. No need to thank me. You do write well and you do write with feeling and depth that sometimes is obvious and yet I don’t know you. However as we both realize only the writer knows the true meaning behind words. 🙂
