Dreams do come alive.

The girl brushed her hair from her face

and smiled shyly at the stranger before her.

She had seen him many times but did not

know his name, had never spoken to him.

Last night she had dreamt of him and here

he was today; smiling at her the way she had

seen it in her dream.Β

      1. πŸ˜€ I have also started to do some charity work. Not much but a start. I feel so alive being able to contribute in a small way. πŸ˜€ You have fun. Life is about the moments. Make it count πŸ˜€

      2. You are right about life being about moments. I haven’t done much giving back lately since work and school makes it hard but that’s no excuse. What sort of voluntary work do you do? I used to do a Feed the Homeless programme on Fridays after school.

      3. Mine are impromptu. My friend Paul whom I did some post, he’s hands on charity guy for decades. He’s roping me in now whenever he needs photographer for event shoots. I did one two Saturdays ago for some 300 children from 8 homes. They were delighted to have printouts of their portratits. I did one for old folks homes, washing ingredients for cooking of the dumplings. We broke the record by making 16,000 dumplings surpassing the original number intended and was able to feed more. There’s a upcoming event next month for old folks too. I’m hoping I could make it.

      4. Wow, I can’t imagine that many dumplings πŸ™‚ I can imagine the excitement of those children πŸ™‚ I hope you get to go to the next event and when you do you’ll enjoy every minute of it.

  1. I just can’t stop mocking myself! Rather, I choose not to stop just yet. Think I’m trying to wean myself from all this dreaming- time to wake up and realise life really isn’t a movie with a happy ending- at least for some of us. There’s something terribly wrong when you mock yourself right? Or, maybe it’s a good thing.
